On March 24, 2025, the next Academic Council was held at the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K. I. Skryabin. At the meeting, Dr. Matthias Kramer, Director of the Research Institute for System Competence and Innovation of the Federal Republic of Germany, was awarded the title of “Honorary Professor” of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University for his contribution to strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as for many years of fruitful implementation of joint projects with the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University. Rector of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University named after K. I. Skryabin, Academician R. Z. Nurgaziyev highly appreciated the activities of Professor Matthias Kramer at the award ceremony, emphasizing that he is an excellent professional and has been implementing fruitful projects for our university in recent years. He noted that these projects benefit not only our university, but the entire country.
And the director of the Kyrgyz-German Institute at the university, Associate Professor K. K. Umetov noted that young scientists, graduate students, and students are also interested in this project, and especially noted the activities of the project manager, Professor Matthias Kramer.
Professor Matthias Kramer expressed his gratitude and noted in his speech that the ALMA-KIKA project is making every effort to improve the ecology of Kyrgyzstan, protect wild apple trees and produce products from them that are useful for humanity.
